| uMail provides 2048 bit encryption for messages to and from Hotmail, Netscape Mail and Yahoo Mail. A major benefit of this product is that you still continue to use your existing Hotmail, Yahoo Mail and Netscape Mail accounts. Unlike most Web based email encryption companies which force you to change your client software, UUCOMM builds on what you already have but we simply make it work more securely.
uMail works in the background as you surf the Internet. When it detects that an email is being sent, it asks you if you want to encrypt the message with uMail. When uMail detects that a message is being read, it determines if it has been encrypted by uMail. If so, it decrypts the message and sends it to your email client.
