| The DatePicker JavaBean(TM) enables a user to select a date from a calendar. The selected date is published using a property change event. The DatePicker Bean has various possibilities to customize to your needs, see the features list below to read more about this. The applet on my home page uses the AWT version of the bean. An applet demonstrating the various features of the DatePicker Bean is available at the demo page. FeaturesThe DatePicker JavaBean works for AWT and Swing, it automatically detects what is available. It optionally displays the weeknumbers (left or right). The DatePicker JavaBean is highly customizable: All items (day buttons, month comboboxes, etc) in the DatePicker can be replaced by own components.For example, replace the buttons of the days by a component that includes the tasks that must be done that day). Colors can be set to own values A combination of components is a "Style". Out of the box the DatePicker JavaBean has an AWT and a JFC style. You may add tou own styles to it. These personal styles may be based on an other style. This way you don't have to replace all components. Text of months can be changed Text of the Today button can be changed The size can be changed to virtually any size, all items will be resized automatically It is possible to buy the source code, mail me for more info. |
