WWW server and proxy, which will be in near future 'Wireless Web Server'
supporting SMS and WAP. Also Web Client Robot, which can be used to
download and mirror content from Internet. This is not 100% pure Java
program. Currently only tested in Win32-environment. You must have Java
2 Runtime Environment version 1.3 installed from java.sun.com. In
Windows command prompt, unzip keppi.zip. Go to directory 'keppi'. Run
setup.bat. When running setup, you should not have any other java
programs running, like older version of this program. Setup program will
make a directory C:\server containing initial program parameters and a
file C:\server_options which refers to this directory. In this directory
are batch files keppi.bat which you can use to invoke server in command
prompt with verbose mode, and robot.bat which you can use to invoke Web
Client Robot program. Batch file manag.bat you can use to invoke Server
Management Program. Default home base directory is C:\home. Put there
index.html as initial home page file, or change the directory to some
other in setup-program. If you have other jar-library extensions in
your Java Runtime Environment, they can be incompatible with versions
supplied with this program. Notably server.jar and jsdk.jar are
incompatible. In this case you should delete jsdk.jar. If you are going
to run server in public internet, remember to change manager password.
You can also install server program as Windows NT service as described
in document keppi.html, which you should read. Document is only a
compromise. Better documentation comes later. If service fails to
start, stack trace can be read from file C:\server_error. Ask for
advice from email address: jotuomin@hotmail.com
