I added the recursive encoding algorithm, and it works pretty good, the problem is still the same, although i'm closer to getting it fixed. I don't have too much time, but i'm also working on writing a version of IIF in assembly.. i'll try to keep around the java version for those of you who want it. currently, i can't compress alpha, or animations yet, but those will be in before i release it again. I'd also like some help on the java version if anyone is interested. I've got Huffman codes built in already, and they work great. I modified them a little bit to run a bit faster, and it saves me a bit more space (didn't think it could be done, huh?) :) My website also went down, so i've moved to sourceforge. IIFv1.1.10: Supports Animation, and 32-bit lossless compression. On some simpler images, beats out PNG and TIFF compression, on animated images, beats out GIF compression.
