| STReporter is a Java Servlet 2.1 and Java Server Page (JSP) 1.0 based reporting mechanism that allows an administrator to configure reports that can be run by calling a simple url. It can be run with any servlet and JSP enabled web server such as BEA Weblogic, Apache with Jserv, iServer, and many others. With security handled by the servlet engine's Access Control List, only specific users to view certain reports as designated by the server administrator. The JSP, while containing important Java code for processing the report, can be easily customized to fit into any website's look and feel, without the need to know Java at all. |
