| Development Tools / Profilers / Java Performance TestClient |
The Java Performance TestClient (JPTC) is a tool for testing the performance of Java classes. This tool is written in Java and uses a Swing GUI to interact with the user.
JPTC uses testclasses to test the performance. This testclasses have different methods that might be tested. These methods can be executed a number of times by a specific number of threads. The skeleton for the testclasses can be generated using JPTC. Currently JPTC supports the languages english, german, frensh, polish and portuguese.
JPTC testresults are presented in different types of charts and textoutputs. For graphic represention you can select categorized or line charts. It is also possible to see the results of single threads. The testresults also can be exported to a HTML report and a textfile. Using the user preferences you can set the classpath, the language settings and the colors for the HTML report. The HTML report is high customizable.
It is possible to save almost every window to a text- or imagefile. The textfiles can be previewed using JPTC. JPTC has an own Textfile browser for these files. The HTML report can automaticaly be loaded to a browser.
The testclass generator provides a wizard to create the class and add methods. These methods can have different parameters. It is possible to use the Wrapper classes of the primitive datatypes and Strings. These types can also be an array.
And last but not least... JPTC is for free and more and more features will be added. |
